exterior perfect. (well...except for the crappy Duncrap tires ). but serious, paint. body. chrome. wheels. plastic trim. glass. all perfect.

interior = seat cover is a little wrinkled on drivers left upper bolster. otherwise. not a blem or thing out of place.

This truck is actually put together better than my American built 2012 TRD Sport was. This one built in Mexico. :D

I gave my truck a thorough exam before officially taking delivery. If I had found ANYTHING wrong with it I would have refused unless they started adjusting the price accordingly.

just picked mine up last Saturday. The RR fender flare is a COMPLETELY different silver(lot damage repair, wrong part installed at port, not sure the real cause) there is a chunk of paint missing on the driver door where it has been opened into something, and they did a terrible job removing the plastic from the door sills. They are fixing the fender flare, but I didn't bother mentioning the other things because there was really no point. I work in the industry and know how frustrating it can be. It doesn't matter how careful and thorough the technicians are, the detailers and lot porters are generally working for an outsourced company and are not paid a fair wage, so they rarely take their jobs seriously. This leads to a large amount of damage/neglect/quality issues on vehicles.

I would have refused delivery, but it's a fairly "rare" package, and I got employee pricing so meh.

A few scratches on the bottom of the driver door sill from previous test drives (truck had about 100 miles when I got it). Covered up nicely with the protectors, so no issue there.

My biggest complaint was the country music stations already programmed into the stereo!

Found a few light scratches on the hood from things being laid on it. Detailer buffed them out before I left

Silver is the hardest color to get paint to match. blue flake/ yellow tint/ + silver
OEM's paint the body, doors, hood and tailgate at the assembly factory
Heat, cure time, coating thickness vary between plastic parts and primer'ed metal bodies.
Toyota bought your fender flares from a parts supplier that has their own paint line.
But yes, parts suppliers have high turnover rates which lead to Quality problems.
