You are confusing wear & tear from use, with condition at delivery.

Pieces of clear plastic hanging out between plastic trim and carpet... Still there fifteen years later, guess I got over it.

I bought the truck from a reputable dealer I trusted them to do a good job on a pre delivery yes I walked around it I did not inspect it with a magnifying glass everything I requested was on the truck I took the keys and drove home I'm not that anal.

It would be impossible for me to remember how many I have had I started driving in 1961 and was in the car repair business for over 35 years. If you like I can post pictures of my ride it does still look new however there is not a shot of wining the Concours d’ Elegance and guess what I don't care it’s not a show truck never was never will be!

    No problem.
I believe the thread was about delivery condition. Your earlier post was about use.

It was, and if there was an oblivious defect I'm pretty sure I would have pointed that out but a scratch on a rocker panel to me would not constitute a defect knowing full well there would be more to come. These things are mass produced and it kind of irks me with all the bad mouthing about this and that defect and perceived poor quality. Putting a dealership on the defensive also is not in your best interest chances are pretty high they had nothing to do with it.

I get what you are saying. And I'm not trying to be argumentive. Matter of fact, your opinion brings good perspective to the thread.

The OEM driver's side floor mat was 2 degrees off parallel with the alignment of the front edge of the seat & the passenger side was spot on.....I was so pissed!

Yes I have, when the dealer put their own sticker on my tailgate. I took it out right away. :)

Scratches on the roof. wouldn't be surprised if they ran it thru the car wash and that's what did it.

I got mine from Vann York Toyota in High Point, NC. They were very good to deal with. All my free ToyotaCare service is done thru Hendrick Toyota here in CLT.

My 2015 has the exact same problem my 2011 had. The white sticker on the drivers side frame and the baby blue shocks. Other than that it was perfect.

All was ok until I tried installing front springs two days ago. The outer arm bolts that attach the A arm to the spindle, passenger side, were both cross threaded from the factory. I carefully drove it to the dealership and they replaced the spindle and hardware within 24 hours under warranty.
I installed my new bumper last week and found finger tight bolts in several areas. Needless to say when the truck went back to have the spindle replaced, I had them go over every but and bolt they could get to , just to make sure.
When I first drove the truck home (2014 TForce) I noticed a strange shake on the highway. Immediately turned around and went back. Almost all the lug nuts were loose.
Time will tell on everything else I guess.. Fingers crossed.
