I'm trying to upgrade my 2017 OR little by little and I've decided the next upgrade that will allow me the most room for future upgrades would be to upgrade the suspension. I've heard almost non stop that OME suspension is the best, then Bilstein and then Fox. So looking at my choices with OME I saw the OMETAC16HKSB (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XJHLPTS/) and OMETAC16BP51B (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XKFN847/) I'm using Amazon links to make this easy for pricing...The more expensive BP-51 have reservoirs where as the other suspension does not but at more than half the price. Are they worth it? Advantages/Disadvantages?

With Bilstein people seem to be leaning on their B8 5100 series but I can't find a 'kit' like the OME products so it's hard to say what the price is from my vantage. And lastly Fox has sets ranging up to $1900 but again not a kit like the OME. It's not a big deal that they don't have kits but since I've already heard so much about OME I'm kinda wondering why I would bother to put the pieces together...and I'm lazy :D

Any info and opinions are appreciated.

The second lift is the best OME offers.Others will chime with experience of both lifts Im sure.

Yea...Vendors don't know how to label their stuff on Amazon properly but that is the correct kit... here's the manufacture link http://store.arbusa.com/OME-COMPLET...YOTA-TACOMA-W-BP-51-OMETAC16BP51B-P22902.aspx

My OR is my every day ride but I want some headroom to put on the extra this, that and the other.. I plan on doing all the armor that i can, new front and rear bumper as well as rock sliders...hence my hesitation about spending the twice as much on the suspension with the reservoirs.

It is going to be largely up to you to decide. Personally I think the OME spring and shock lifts ride too stiff. ICON uses digressive valving (the faster you go the softer and more compliant it is), Fox, King, Sway Away all use progressive valving (soft and smewth around town and the faster you go the stiffer the valving gets), it certainly isn't easy to do but you should try and leverage TW members to go and test ride and see what you like. Then, buy from a TW vendor like Headstrong, Wheelers, Downsouth.

The valving information is interesting. I'll have to look into that further. Thanks!
