finally swapped off the factory shocks w/ ~75k on them. 80% hwy, 10% light off road & the other 10%...banging ditches so to speak.

I noticed a definite loss of ride quality around the 55k/60k mark and wish I had changed them out sooner. Also, nuts were so badly seized/rusted/fubared on my rear shocks that I had to cut them off to remove the assembly.

I went with OEM takes offs from a MY17 TRD OR but didn’t change out anything else.

What sort of mileage are you OEM and aftermarket guys getting out of your set ups?

I had the front end aligned yesterday and was a bit suprized to learn that the lower control arm cams and bushings were going to need replacing soon.

Those who have done the bushings and cams did you find it worth the heartache? Seems easiest to just replace the lower control arms.

I just hit the same milestone as you, ~75k. I also have noticed a definite decline in ride quality in the past year since I have owned the truck and put nearly 20k on it (80% highway, 20% offroad). Sadly, I do not have the money to purchase a whole new suspension setup atm but I think the idea to replace with a cheap set of OEM takeoffs from someone might be a solid idea. How does the new "old" suspension feel compared to the old wornout suspension it replaced?

FTMFW indeed. They are an endangered species incapable of domestic progeny.

The take offs are great. Super cheap option and readily available with low miles from folks who immediately take them off to do lifts.

Trucks rides the same she did the day it came off the lot.
