I am currently doing a Ball joints job on my truck and completely forgot to buy new castle nuts, cotter pins, and other miscellaneous pieces like the ones previously listed. What store could I go to that would sell the various nuts/bolts/cotter pins that I would need?

Did the ball joints not come with nuts?
If not, you can reuse the old nuts.

    Cotter pins are nothing special.
I bought a whole assortment pack from harbor freight. But Ace, Hone depot and Lowe’s carries them.

Probably none. It’s not a store item.

I’ve probably re used all of that multiple times. If you’ve feel like it, you can give the parts a cleaning and apply some loctite.

none of these parts are high torque on a small fastener. None of these parts are torque to yield stretch bolts.

A German car may have a 300 ft lb axle stretch bolt. Which people still have gotten one additional use out of if doing it improperly.
