Suspension done - Alignment results, issue?

    OME front & rear shocks, OME 886 springs, Dakar rear leaf pack, ICON UCA, Demello front bumper, BFG M/T 255/85r16
    I just installed a full OME shock suspension front and rear setup with 886 in front and dakar in rear. Also installed ICON Tubular UCA's

    Had an alignment done, here are the readings:
    LEFT:
    CASTER - 3.3°
    CAMBER - 0.6°
    TOE - 1/32"

    RIGHT:
    CASTER - 3.6°
    CAMBER - 0.6°
    TOE - 1/32"

    seems great and all, but I noticed when i go around a corner, my steering wheel tends to NOT go back to the center, it kind of "hangs" a little to the left or right, depending on which direction I turned. I have to straighten it back to the middle.

    So I looked at my sheets again, and saw:

    Secondary Axle Inclination:
    LEFT - 12°
    RIGHT - 1.9°

    Inclined Angle:
    LEFT - 12.5°
    RIGHT - 2.5°

    I tried to look it up online, it says:
    Do I have a problem, or is it expected when you install new UCAs? Did the alignment shop do a shitty job or is that something thats not adjustable? The quote above states "SAI is typically not adjustable", and I know my vehicle has never been in an accident. Could I have installed something wrong?

    Anybody run into those kind of numbers on their alignment sheet with a setup like mine?

    So your saying when you turn your truck and start to go straight again it doesnt straighten itself out? Did you install new wheels and tires too?

    ^^ correct if i turn left and let go of the steering wheel, the steering wheel will straighten a little bit but continue to go left, same if I turn right, it continues to go right even though i've let go of the steering wheel.

    no, same old tires and wheels.

    just 20 minutes ago, I got suspicious about how stiff those UCA's ball joints were, so I took my truck to a dirt road and went 65mph for about a minute. It seems to have loosened those ball joints a little and now my steering wheel tends to go back to center. I think the new UCA's ball joints being stiff were reluctant to let the wheels straighten themselves out.

    I'll report back tomorrow when I drive to work.

    I spray teflon lube every once in a while on my TC UCA ball joints and that seems to help.

    It's because of the amount of caster in your alignment. The more caster, the less likeliness that it will turn back to center I think.

    I'm not really sure its been about 6 years since I had mine installed. Every 6 months I grease all the zerk fittings though.

    -3.3 -3.6 Caster? I think that it should be 2.16 positive with a tolerance of + or - .75
    i think i put both of mine @ 2.5 positive with 0 camber

    sorry I should have used a : instead of a -.....its positive 3.3 and 3.6 caster.
