    I work on Commercial Transport vehicles. The only reason shocks get changed is corrosion, fluid leakage, breakage or operator complaint of performance issues. ( and complaints are rare ) There are shocks on some vehicles with well over 500,000kms and they are still fine. We do replace bushings regularly. On the automotive side, I have seen 200,000kms on shocks and struts with no issues in performance.

    2017 Toyota Tacoma SR5 double cab
    3in front and 2in rear lift
    Recently went get an alignment and was told my inner and outer tie rods are bad also my sway bar. They also told me my camber could not be adjusted… truck pulling to the right (2017 Toyota Tacoma sr5 with 60k miles)
