Take your taco to the limit. Find what those limitations are, then mod.

Not to be that guy, but I think you want King or Fox for Baja... there’s a reason Icon isn’t run on any competition trucks :anonymous: digressive spring rate being one them.

I'm in the same boat. I daily driver my truck but take it hunting in some very remote areas with spicy trails quite a bit. Last season I ran it stock except for a set of 265/75r16s. Pushed it very hard, drug a lot of skid plates and luckily didn't smash any rocker panels. The truck will go places stock believe me. That being said I just ordered Bilstein 6112s, 5160s, and Dakar medium duty leafs pack. I plan on staying with a modest lift around 1.5" and possibly going up to 255/85 before next season starts. In reality I should pony up for some sliders before the inevitable rocker panel crunch comes.

Let us know if we can help. We offer most brands and stock many of the options as well.

Figure out whats most important to you for your type of driving, whether it be high speed, crawling, ground clearance, etc...then we can figure out what will work for you without you going overkill and spending more than necessary. Fox, King, Icon, Bilstein, Teraflex all have some great options.

    ICON8 Lift -285s. upTOPoverland rack.
Op stated this was his daily driver so the improvements in performance that digressives provide may indeed be of interest. Op I can take corners at stop lights at 45 mph with my Icons.

It tends to give a rough ride from all the reviews I’ve heard.

I also don’t think taking corners at 45 is the most ideal thing to do lol...

Honestly, I went through the suspension decision process just about a year ago. I made waaaay too much out of it. I ended up with ADS 2.5 inch bypass shocks front and back and Medium Dakars. The ADS shocks are adjustable and that makes them really nice for a range of possibilities. The other thing I went with was Nitto Ridge Grappler tires which I cannot recommend enough: more aggressive than your typical AT tire, they are still a very smooth street ride.
