You want a kit with a new rear leaf spring in my opinion.

I'm happy with the Fox 2.5/2.0rr on my truck...I didn't spring for the DSC and I'm not running the diff drop or axle shim.

Awesome thanx. I took a look at their website but I can't even get a price quote cause they're closed for a week.
I've been getting mixed heights on each website saying it's only a 2" lift and some saying 3" are you able to clear 285's no problem?

It's a 3" max height, the lift amounts are adjustable via preload collars.

The higher the lift, the stiffer the preload, and the stiffer the ride (and less suspension flexibility). 285s will not clear from lift height alone.. the fenderwell is the problem. Some go around that with different offset wheels, but you'll be doing some modifying for 285s unless you never plan on going offroad.

I'm currently running 285s and I just had to cut the front fenders and the fender well alittle, it's tight but she's been doing alright through the few trails we do have here. Do you think if I have the fox shocks set at 3" they'll be back breaking over rocks like my crappy pro comp's?

ProComp is notoriously stiff.. I don't know how they compare, but definitely at full preload they'll be stiffer than if they were less so.

nice lift kit, i am also looking for a lift kit myself, prefer doing a bilstein 5100 2-3" lift nothing crazy, mainly using truck for camping, and taking the family outdoors. Any recommendation?

5100s and an AAL are good for under $500. Next step from there is OME, and around $750-1200 depending.

OME coils are softer, but supposedly 5100s were valved for Eibach.

They're supposedly also valved for stock coils, so take that for what it's worth. ;)

I like my OME setup a lot and would recommend it. 5100s and OME coils would be about $500 shipped. You'd need an AAL for the rear, which isn't much more, $100-175 or so.
