I just looked and there is a block under the rear leafs. Should I just get another set of stock springs since these are sagging and keep the block or get something else?

Correct the front first. You may be level after. Then you can decide if you want to leave the block or look for a set of 2” springs or an aal.

Can you see the spring rate? Maybe that coil is for running with a bumper, winch, skids, etc.

What do your CV angles look like?

How is that 2.5” of lift with the factory 1/4” preload (or so it appears to be)

I went through 3 sets of springs to get the ride/lift that I wanted. I bought the springs from King, and they were super helpful. If you call them and tell them the size, weight and how much pre-load you have (the length of the spring at full extension,) they'll tell you what you need.

I would love to do that! But I have this thing to wheel in. The Tacoma is my daily.

Second gen. 3rd gen would yield 1.5” with that setup. Looks solid

OP grab a center of Hub to fender measurement then we can tell how much lift you have.

There is a chance (and I could be wrong) that those are 3rd gen 5100s with a toytec 1.6" Coil. I have a feeling you're on the 3rd or 4th clip of the 3rd gen designed 5100 to give you the 3" lift. Take a measurement direct center of hub to fender straight up and let us know where you are at. Third gen 5100s go 1st clip = 0 2nd = 0.65″ 3rd clip = 1.1″ 4th clip = 1.55″ 5th clip = 2″

So the consensus is to lower the perch to the bottom notch. Would getting a new C-clip be recommended? I’m curious as to why Toytec assembles this set up at the top notch if it’s not supposed to be that way.

The measurement from center of hub on the driver side is approximately 24 1/4” and passenger is approximately 24 1/2”

Your truck stock should be around 20-20.5" (mine was 20 1/4) so yes somehow youre cranked up way too far. Most lifted guys The previous owner must have brought the front up. Do you have pix of the CV angles??

They’re the second gen billies. The 3rd gen ones the rings for the snap ring are super close together. The measurements you noted are for the factory coil on a 3rd gen truck put on a 5100 for the 3rd gens. The coils he has are 600lb eibach coils made for Toytec .

I could not tell if those were the 3" 600 or the 1.6" 620 coil and I was kinda just in disbelief that that could be the 3" coil. after his numbers here though I think we have it figured out that somehow someone cranked those up with the 3" coil.

Yeah. I think the original owner took them apart and moved the clip to get more lift.
