So after pouring over tons of posts I haven't come across any comparing the following setups. Forgive me if they are out there but I'd really appreciate the input. Here's what I'm going for....

I have a 2014 DCLB 4x4. I run a Leer 180 shell (375 lbs) and a sleeping / camping setup in the bed all the time (150 lbs). The rear pack is already sagging. My plan it to put on a 2.5-3" lift and run 17x8.5 Ray 10's wrapped in Toyo Open Country ATIIs 285 70 17. It's my daily driver. So here's my dilemma with suspension.

I do a lot of backcountry camping and regularly travel down many miles of forrest service, fire and unimproved roads. Given the weight I continually carry, I'm already planning to replace the rear pack with Dakar. I was trying to keep the suspension budget ~3K or less so that's why King and Fox aren't on the list.

I'm looking for the best long term performance / durability / quality ride for the money. I've read good and bad things about each setup but all in comparison mostly to Fox or King. I'm not sure if Icon fixed their customer service or not yet but I remember a whole thread devoted to how bad it sucked earlier this year.

I plan on doing UCAs as I know there are many options out there but I'm torn between ball joint and uniball given the frequent complaints about noise of the later. To be fair I'm considering Total Chaos, Camburg, Icon and SPC. So here we go....

    1) Toytec Boss Kit with rear remote resi, UCAs

    2) Icon Stage 4 w/ tubular UCA (considering upgrade to delta joint)

    http://iconvehicledynamics.com/shop...5-suspension-system-stage4-w-tubular-uca.html

    3) Bilstein 6112 / 5160s with UCAs.

*also planned..... All Pro U bolt flip kit, extended lines and new bumps all around.

Thanks in advance for your input and responses. I will really help me figure this out and finally pull the trigger.

Here's how she sits right now with some rock climbing pics from my trip to Indian Creek, UT....

In reviewing, I realize I posted the wrong Icon Stage. I have been looking at the stage 3 rather than the 4. I realize now I should also consider Fox as well, any thoughts or recommendations? Just got my Ray 10's yesterday so looking to pull the trigger on this soon.

I would go with the icon setup personal I found the boss kit a little stiff without a front steel bumper. Had the boss kit before I did my fox setup. Don't just consider the delta joints just do those since they will cost you less money down the road since you can better service them. I run a very similar setup from fox as the icon setup you have posted there.

@Schmidt thank you for the info. That's the kind of information I'm looking for. The boss kit seems cost effective but it sounds like just doing it right from the start is the way to go.
