Suspension install in PDX?

Got a pretty steep bid for labor from 4 Wheel Parts in Tigard for shock and airbag install. I’m now considering buying the parts and having them installed locally. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good shop/tech? Thanks!

 

Labor at most shops is going to be ridiculous.

I had gotten quotes of $1,200 just to swap shocks/coilovers, ucas, and leaf springs...

A lot of folks just buy parts and do it themselves.

Mike (GearHead owner) is pretty chill and will often lend a hand if he is not busy, but all in all is a DIY garage.

Many of us have gone there to work on our rigs, so i can guarantee he'll have all the tools you need for a regular suspension lift.

Depending on day/time and how much workload i have, i may be able to lend a hand.
