What all can bind up on the front end suspension wise? I added a brand new toytec boss lift and the front drivers side is easy to bounce when pushing on the bumper, the passenger side is like a brick and does not budge. I have a loud thud when I hit bumps only on the passenger side aswell. The shock cycles fine if tons of weight is bouncing on the front bumper so I'm thinking something is binding up somewhere. Ideas?? I have JBA UCA and keep them well greased

Your gas tank is on the drivers side.

At what point did you tighten the control arm bolts?
While the truck was in the air or on the ground?

I'm almost to the point of dropping it of at 4wheelparts or the local offroad shop that does BDS and junk and let them figure it out unless someone has ideas to check

Ok, Good. So we can eliminate that.
Some people have tightened in air and had some issues. Definitely hard on the bushing doing it that way.

I am wondering if the LCA bushings are to tight or something from the alignment shop, the odd thing is tho if that's the case then the dealer, and multiple other shops have over tightened every time

Take a look at your coil spring and see if it is hitting the steering arm or sway bar?

No sway bar on the truck and I picked the truck up and dropped it many times with the floor Jack and nothing is even close to hitting that I can see

Will do, I am thinking about loosing literally everything, flexing the suspension then tighten everything again

The only play I can get out of anything is the CV axle, I can pull and push it and make a small sound from the joint but other than that there is zero play anywhere and everything is nice and tight. The axle is only about 10k old to so idk why it would be bad . How much play should be in a cv?

Can you post pictures of the setup on that side? We probably won’t see anything you don’t but extra eyes always help

It could possibly be your LCA. I just replaced both of my LCA's a few weeks ago because they were seized up and creaking very loudly over every little bump or when I turned the wheels. I replaced them with the DoorMan OEM replacements.

The only thing I can think of that would cause binding and or thud sounds would maybe be the bolt that attaches the coilover to the LCA. Maybe if its over torqued its not letting the coilover rotate properly when the suspension flexes? I'm grasping at straws here but maybe without the sway bar you're over extending something.
