Ok this is a bit of a different question that I have not been able to nail down in other threads.

In simple terms, what recommendations for a full suspension lift based on quality and more importantly it’s resilience towards the MF, GD salt they find so coviently easy to dump at the slightest hint of cold/precipitation errrrrrrrrrr. LOL

seriously though, I was leaning towards the Ironman Stage 2 and someone went and ruined it by posting pics of a rusted out spring/shock after a couple years, ugghh.
My guess is they will all be the same towards salt but if there are any better options let me know please……before I press the trigger on a new full suspension lift. Thanks

OME, Bilstien, ICON, King, all corrode. OME has been bad in my region as of late. Maybe thinner paint?

You can oil suspension like you would a frame. I would get in that routine. Just keep the oil off the front CV axles.

I like iron man as well, but havent seen it in my area yet (prairie canada) so I have no input.

Oddly, the painted yellow TRD shocks seem to withstand corrosion the best in my experience. It's why I stuck with the yellow 4600 boring bilstiens.

Yeah I was all set to go OME then Blistien, then ICON and now looking hard at Ironman. Honestly I'd go King but you can't find them anywhere and they don't give them away lol. I have seen a few king sets on a few rigs in Maine.

I think whatever I choose I will have protect them like fluid filming the frame and underbody. Was just wondering if anyone had better luck with a specific brand.
Hey suspension manufacturer's.........how about us up here in the damn NORTH.......there is more to wheeling than just rock and sand ya know hahahahaha

The great war with corrosion continues I guess..........

Buy whatever you want and just spray it with fluid film.

I use Fluid Film on the frame. The Icon uca's/ coilovers/shocks get Boeshield T-9... it's more clear and less greasy than Fluid Film. Also, get neoprene coilover wraps.
