    Hello Everyone,

I know this is a very common topic discussed on Tacoma World, I've searched everywhere I can't seem to find a concrete answer on the topic. It seems the general consensus is that coilovers with reservoirs are the best value for your truck, but I don't have the funds nor can I allow my self to spend that much money on something I will only use 10% of the time in my truck.

With that said, talk to me about options of suspension lifts. I would love to get coilovers for the best ride quality and the least potential for damage to my vehicle (Based on my research that is the best way to lift your vehicle without damaging it from adding spacers to your stock suspension, correct me if I'm wrong). But I'm on a strict budget of roughly $1,500 for the entire set up, before labor. what would you say the best route to go is?

Also if you could clarify as to what lift options in the rear are

    Much appreciated,
    -Jack

Full OME with UCAs, just about.

Doesn't include install, alignment or tires.

OME lift kit with add a leaf (for insertion in stock leaf pack) or rear block lift for a little less than $1000. Leaves money for install, and you could upgrade to Dakar replacement leaf springs further down the road like I did.

bought mine from Toytec, haven't looked back

OME with Dakars is only $1300.

If I spend a grand and got OME and a block I'd feel foolish.

Also.. maybe skip OME shocks for Bilstein and save a hundo or two. I ran both. Wouldn't run OME shocks again.

If you're patient you can do well with that. I paid under $1400 for Icon 2.5" front and 2.0" Rear shocks, plus the progressive aal. I believe it was 20% off at the time.

How about a formulaic approach? Every inch in lift, if done properly, would be $500 bucks. :hattip:

I've had good luck with the kits Allpro puts together. I plan to use them in the future.

    I second bilsteins over OME.

I'm very happy with the kit I got from them, Bilstien 5100s all around with an AAL in the rear and 885 spring up front. Total was just under $800. Did the install myself and put the savings towards wheels and tires.

I thought my lift was going to be less than $1,500 until I found out the alignment cams being frozen is common. Going to cost me another few hundred to get that straightened out.
