    Hello,
I have a bone stock 06 Taco double cab. Great truck but can't use it here 7 months of the year because of the snow. My cabin is 5 miles out from town and its snowmobile only from Nov/Dec to April.
I want to add tracks next fall which gives me 8 moths to make whatever mods I need to.
In speaking with American Track Systems they suggest a 3 inch front lift and 2 in rear to accommodate the tracks.

My question to you fine folks is what other components should I beef up, up front. What lift system would not only lift but strengthen?

    Thanks, Max

I don’t know much about tracks. But gusseting the alignment tabs is a must if your off-roading hard

    I would gusset the spindle.
your going to need to get new upper control arms too with 3 inches of lift I would get some that are gusseted too
