    I have a 06 trd sport double cab 4x4
I'm balling on a budget so I need to save up before anything.
I was wondering what comes first. Suspension or wheels.
    I was looking at 3"bilsteins.
And some scs 8 series 17" wheels.

I would go with the lift first. That's what I did. Are you running stock size tires or have something larger than stock?

Truck looked a little funny with the stock tires with the lift for a little while. Once I put the new tires on it looked fine.

SCS 8 series is what I would love to have but they are pretty low on the list.

I guess it really depends on what you are planning on doing with the truck and what will be more of a benefit to you. Lift will allow you to put some bigger tires under it. Wheels to me are all about looks unless you are needing different backspacing to fit larger tires.

Well I wanna do some light trails. For now. And maybe upgrade later on. I've never been on trails but really want to.
My grandparents have tons of land in Nevada and I take it off roading there and love it.
But I feel like I need a little more clearance and I feel like if I had better tires I could get more traction and better suspension would give me a nicer ride and would absorb the rocks and bumps more. I just didnt know if I could run my stock tires and rims with the lift.
But I thought it would look funny so that's why I asked what I should do first

FOX 2.5 extended travel, Fox 2.0 rears, LR UCA, XSPX rims, some light bars, and switches
Suspension first, so you can fit the rims and tires.

You can run the stock tires and wheels. This is what I did for about 6 months. It looks a little funny but I couldn't afford everything all at once. I'm still running the stock rims on my sport and I don't plan on getting rid of them anytime soon. I had to put wheels spacers on so my new tires would stop rubbing at full lock. I didn't go much bigger than stock 265/70/17 Duratrac. When i'm ready to get new tires I will be going with a 285/70/17 or maybe even a 305/70/17 if I get brave enough to do the cutting required.
