Yes but they are kinda like a set it and forget it type set up. Where spanner wrench adjustable shocks have threads and such that rust out and such

This is what I don't want.

 

These have about 5,000 miles on them as stated in the for sale thread. My Stock Sport springs and 5100's have about 13,000 on them and have zero rust. This is why I don't want THIS TYPE OF COILOVER IN MASSACHUSETTS.

Sure sounds good. An adjustable Coilover to me Is something that can be adjusted on the vehicle. Where 5100's and 6112's can't be. Meaning not a true adjustable Coilover to me. With the 5100's and the 6112's I don't have to worry about rusting threads, collars etc

 

Okay let me quote this " I don't want any threaded Coilovers that need a spanner wrench for adjustment." As I have seen to many sets that have rusted threads, collars etc etc etc.

 

Any suspension part will end up with surface rust in that winter environment

 

I understand that OZ but to me true Coilovers in New England are just not for me.

 

Not trying to sell you on them just saying all of them will rust . My 885's are no longer black anywhere , the OME shocks are half yellow / half surface rust

Unchained.....this should help you with any coilover you go with. Right around this time of year I spray my whole undercarriage with "fluid film". Google it and or search Tacoma world because I know there is a thread or 2 on it. 3 to 4 cans will do it. Spray everything but the exhaust. It's a heavy duty metal protector that will not let anything stick to it (salt) and will completely protect it(rust). It works awesome!!!!
