I'm assuming it naturally wears off over time.

Was thinking of getting the truck undercoated as well. Just not sure wether I should get Toyota to do it or get a shop to do it. I know Toyota uses a product that's impregnated with silicone so it doesn't crack, so they say.

It's pretty good at sticking around , creeps into crevises

I've used it on lots of tools and machinery

Power wash or just spray it really well. My truck was pretty clean so I just sprayed it off pretty good. Fluid film is a very oily substance and is lanolyn based so it is very hard to wash off.

Going to go with this lift as it will be a Mall Krawler and I want to keep it under 3 inches to possibly avoid needing new UCA's. No guarantee I won't need them but who knows.

Needed them last time so I am going to put them on anyway. Don't want to get the vibes then have to pay someone a couple hundred dollars to rip it all apart for a 34.00 item. Forgot to add the Icon 2.0 rear shocks with it. If I do need any UCA's afterwards I will just get some Camburg Ball Joint type.

Shit... I thought you were talking the J66 (if they still make that series) , biggest piece of shit spring going, OEM is better....serious.... & I thought Deaver's J50 series was for 1st gens....

All you need to know about rear leafs is to stay away from the J66, even if given to you, just a horrible spring & design, still can't believe a long time reputable company dumped that POS on the buying public...

@YotaDan helped me out with my setup as well. Good dude! (also no sales tax in Oregon) Since you already have your kit picked out, I just wanted to add that I had just under 3" on my last lift (similar to yours, except with 5100s from Toytec) and I didn't "need" UCAs and my alignment was centered and true. Sure you lose some downtravel, but if you're not wheeling it hard, you won't miss it. The AAL will also begin to sag over time, but the full leaf packs need to settle for a bit and that leaves you with a stinkbug stance while they are breaking in. I hated the way my truck sat with the new Dakar leafs, but it has settled considerably after a few months.

Will putting a bunch of weight in the back make it settle faster? Because I hate that pizza wedge rake look.

Yeah. I've heard of some guys using sandbags or anything that helps add weight. Here's also a trick that may help you during the winter that I borrowed from guys that race trucks. There's a bed mat that is essentially a bladder that gets filled with water (or super diluted antifreeze in the winter). When taking off from a dead stop, the water moves to the back of the truck and places weight just aft of the axle to help you plant your rear tires and gain traction. This should help in the snow as well. If I can find a link, I'll post it. I'm pretty sure it's sold by Jegs or Summit.

I was going to post the exact same thing. In addition to Fluid Film which I just applied again there are numerous other industrial grade corrosion and salt protectors on the market.
