Can't seem to find any info on this question so I figured I'd see if any of you smart gentleman can help me out. Please pardon my incorrect terminology and or hate mail on the subject, for I am only trying to learn and further my suspension knowledge. I would appreciate any help you have to offer.. Thanks

I have a 08 Tacoma quad cab with a pro comp six inch lift and am getting some funky ware on my tires due to some soft coilovers in the front. From what I understand the stock ones may have been used, with a three inch spacer on top between the top of the coil and where it mounts to the vehicle'r frame. I would like to go with some heaver duty coilovers and potentially eliminate the spacer if I can to run longer coilovers all the way to the mount on the frame with no spacer. My question now is:

    1: is this possible?
2: what length coilover will work in this situation?

Not that knowledgeable about drop bracket lifts, but I don't think the coilovers are the problem. I assume it's your alignment.
