I have a 2014 DCSB presently with a 6" ProComp Stage II Kit, 456 gears, rear arb locker and all the other armor you could want. The truck is capable off-road, no doubt. However I'm not getting the quality of a ride I want, to include the truck is extremely ''bouncy'' over even the smallest of obstacles which pose other challenges on the trail.

Any recommendations on how to improve the quality and a make more capable not only as a dd but off-road would be appreciated.

I assume you just have the stock length shocks with a spacer for them and that DB lift. I would get a higher quality coilover made for that lift like king or fox and the proper spring rate and have the shocks tuned. Same goes for the rear. A quality tuned shock no matter the brand is better than an out the box shock. Even out of the box a king or fox will be better than a stock length shock like a 5100 with that huge spacer.

Yeah I’m gonna agree with this here^

I assume you want to keep the 6 inches of height. 4wd is what makes it hard because of getting the front up to the right height. Some 4wd guys will have to chime in on this. For the rear you can either get some custom Alcans made for 6 inches or get some dakars and do a shackle flip.

King and fox make coilovers for these lifts

I'm not opposed at giving up the 6 inches of height however I would like to keep my 305s in the process. I had a buddy of mine talking to me about converting to an Icon suspension but I'm not versed in the particular stages in regards to my needs.

So you have a DB lift bad thing about going shorter is you'll have to fix the cut cross member. If you swap what shocks and coilovers you have for the kings or Fox's then you'll see a difference especially with the coilovers with a proper chosen spring rate.

An icon lift won't work with your current set up. To be honest a lot of guys are running 35s on 3" of lift just requires more trimming of fenders and cab mount than that 6" lift.
