    How does this setup sound, please note any issues.

    I decided to go with a mid travel setup and use the rest of my money to buy some quads/dirtbike

    King/Fox 2.5 RR inches up front, set at "0"
    King/Fox 2.5 RR in the rear
    Deaver Leaf Pack

    Essentially, no lift to avoid preloading springs and getting the most comfy ride possible.

    31" tires to avoid rubbing and having to mess with my cab mounts.

    Questions:

    1. I see some shock manufacturers recommending 285/75/16 tires, why is that?

    2. Will the deaver leaf pack give me any lift? I hate having a rake on my truck that makes the tail higher than the nose. If anything I want it level or have the nose higher.

    3. I know the leaf packs designed for flex dont like weight. I would like to tow some quads with my truck and sometimes even a small trailer when we go on a family camping trip. Besides my truck looking grotesque while being loaded, will there be any performance issues with towing with a high flex leaf pack?

    You will still get about 2" in the front. Little stiffer ride even at 0. But still an awesome set up. I have DH coilovers and these are amazing. I would recomend the total chaos upper control arm with the Uni ball. Just as a precaution.

    why a stiffer ride at 0?

    ANd i do have the TC UCA's (uniball) so that works out great.

    I have never heard of a stiffer ride at 0, but I have never been dealt with coilovers so I guess I shouldnt comment

    I know for a fact that the kings/foxs will be softer, just trying to find optimum settings and tire sizes for cmfort and avoiding issues

    If he lowers the truck back to stock height, the ride should be nice and plush. Though the spring rate may be higher, it will be much less preload.

    If you keep it at about 1" lift, or so, you can eailly run a 265/75/16 (32") and have a nice ride.

    Higher spring rate meaning it'll be more bouncy over terrain?

    the deavers are gonna give you lift out back and you might have to go higher than 1" on the front COs to avoid factory style rake

    Fox 2.5 Coilovers, Camburg 1.25" UCA's, Icon RR, Icon aal,EVS foam bump stops, Borla Catback, HID Headlights and fogs, Defiant light bar, 3 hella 700 hid, Satellite Radio, Sony hu with 10'' sub, custom jetski rack, TRD seat covers, secondary air filter removed.
    My friend is running his icons at 2.5" preload, and it much better than when he was running the billy's at 2.5. But honestly the 2" setting on a coilover is really nice, i would do that if your going to run the deavers.

    I really want to but I feel like I'm cheating my suspension, like I'm not getting everything I can out of it. Any suggestions on a good leaf pack that will void that factory rake??
