My front tires developed some scalloping/feathering so I rotated them to the back today. Had new 5100's put on few months ago, so it's likely not the shocks. Anyone have recommendations for a good shop in the Sacramento area to diagnose the front end? I would hate to ruin the two back tires I moved to the front.

You can see in the pick the uneven tread blocks.

    Thanks

I think that any competent alignment shop would be able to locate the issue.
Ball joint and/or tie rod would be my wild-ass guess.

It's probably an alignment issue when it comes to feathering. When you're toe setting is off, it can lead to this. Did you get an alignment done after the shock install?

The shop who put the shocks on said they did an alignment and they have good ratings. The tires had some hum when I bought the truck a few months ago, so I suspect isome thing has been off for while. I'm taking it in Thursday.
