    When you get rid of stock components you will lose the stock ride.

    But like I said, send a message or call Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road, she does this for a living and she's full of info.

    As far as second gen suspension on 3rd gen? It's a non-issue afaic.

    Our friend just ran the entire Mojave rd with us in his DCLB a few weeks ago and it performed wonderfully with a set of Icon OEM replacements w/ reservoirs. He also ran a set of old All Pro Standard Leafs. Height looks good, ride quality was fantastic, ate up all the whoopses, washboards, and funky ruts.

    If you plan on running a plate bumper, then adding skids, winch, second battery, and a bunch of other things, then yea, look into a set stronger springs, but 600lbs springs vs 620lbs isn't that huge. Having the proper valving, imo, is more important.


    But yes, to reiterate the aforementioned, removing stock components will remove the stock ride, there's no way around this.
