Hey guys I'm sure this is on every thread but I'm 18 years old and I make a pretty good amount of money during the summer and so i will have some money but i wouldn't like to drop like 2k on suspension as I'm going to be paying for college and lineman school. But anyways i want to know what suspension is pretty good but not very expensive like around the bilstein range of price, i do want to get like a 2 or 3 inch in the front and a 1 inch in the back or 1.5. I don't go offroading like every month but i do go out hunting and have taken it the river bar only a few times. Anyways any of your guys opinion or experience with certain brands would be a huge help, thanks a lot!!!!

What you want is a block and spacer kit

well actually i have a 2 inch spacer on my truck right now, but i drive some pretty rough roads to work, like very very rough and i want a nice suspension system in my truck with lift coils, and have gotten recommended bilsteins more than once but was seeing if anyone else had any cheaper nice shocks they have use or know about!

You mentioned "something likeep bilstein ". Why now get bilstein? Affordable and fairly priced for a good entry level lift that isn't a cheap spacer lift. People have also had good experiences with Old Man Emu which could be argued as a step above bilstein.

Just remember when it comes to suspension you get what you pay for and there are no real shortcuts. Bilstein are a decent lift and perfect for your intended purpose, so you're on the right track. Talk to a couple vendors on here and pose the same information. Wheelers Offroad and Headstrong both have good reputations here for not trying to upsell their customers and giving advice.

The Bilstein 5100s combined with OME Coils is a very popular and good riding setup. Throw a 3 Leaf Progressive AAL set out back and you have a pretty sweet ride.

Marie, Why don't you post your responses vs doing PM's?

Just makes it easier to put information that specifically helps the member on their specific truck. Sometimes I have posted information and people think it can apply to their truck too. Since there are differences in trims, cab size, etc there can be variations that need special consideration.
