Hello all, I am in the midst of freshening up the front end of my 2002 Tacoma DC here soon. I have some steering wheel shakes at HWY speed, and approaching 150K miles, I think she's due for some maintenance. I am wanting to replace the Lower Ball Joints and potentially Tie Rod Ends, Rack Bushings, etc. Does anyone have any specific parts numbers from Toyota on these items? I have scoured the internet with no luck quite yet. Point me in the right direction if you would...

I plan on replacing the suspension components such as springs, shocks, leaf springs in the next year or two with a 2" OME so want to dial it in.

    Thanks!!

I'm doing the same. I was wondering about aftermarket ball joints. Is there anything comparable or better than OME Toyota?

To my knowledge, no. I wouldn't trust anything but OEM when it comes to drivetrain / suspension parts.

I would say there's a lot of non oem parts that would be better built... Especially ball joints.

Moog ball joints would be my choice of replacing factory parts, if for no other reason than most auto parts stores carry them and they're affordable... No waiting around for parts to come in... Just go to NAPA or whatever and get your replacements
