i have a 2004 tacoma 5 lug rwd. i put an ARB bumper on it which is seriously weighing down the front end and i was considering getting the whole OME 2" suspension kit and then get bigger tires, would the fact i only have 5 lugs affect any of what i can and cant do

    Welcome to the forum Adam
After you change the title take a look over in the 5 Lug forums. Lotta write ups on suspension upgrades.

Naturally, aftermarket parts add extra weight to your rig. Let us know if you can’t find what you’re looking for over in the 5 lugs :)

Welcome to TacomaWorld Adam... If you haven't come across it yet, take a look at:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...erd-suspension-guide-and-general-info.545351/

@Sperrunner put together quite a bit of info covering what is possible and what isn't with the 5-lug tacoma. His build thread has some good info as well -

There is almost no suspension upgrades for a 5lug. Especially any that will allow the front end to support any additional weight.

you have a few options but not much. Atleast for bolt in options.

Talk to a vendor who does custom leaf springs. How strong is your google-fu.
