I have a non trd truck so they will have to replace all four shocks.
Will they do the tsb on my truck if i have a 2inch spacer in the front?
If they do, will they replace it on the new shocks?

If you are talking about the rear TSB, it does not involve spacers. It does add an additional leave spring into your existing springs. No spacers..no new shocks

i have a non trd truck so it will include blistein (or however you spell it) shocks all around.
And no im talking about the front. I have a spacer to level my truck and i was wondering if they would replace it on the new shocks for me.
Or would i need to let an off-road shop redo it?

I would call and ask. I doubt they would install the spacer your new shocks, but it's worth a call.

Play it safe, remove the spacer at your cost, get the TSB, and replace the spacer at your cost. there is a chance that your dealer will deny the TSB if the suspension has been modified, it's up to the dealer and the bureaucrat that handles your claim.

Some people had luck and dealer has done it at no charge, but since Toyota is loosing revenue due to the problems lately, I bet that even the most liberal dealers now are running a tight shop.

If one dealer makes a note in your vin in the Toyota network records, all dealers will know about it and possibly deny TSB too if you got to another dealer for service once refused by one dealer.

I'm removing lift this week at 59k for the 60k warranty check and after I hit 60k, lift is going back in.
I do my lift in my garage with common tools so you may be able to do the same if you're mechanically inclined, if not spend a few bucks and play it safe.
When I did the TSB back in 08, the final invoice for Toyota warranty was about $1800.00 If I remember well, and that was for new TRD Bilsteins all around and rear leafpacks. So even if you pay a couple of hundreds taking the lift off and replacing it later, you still have a lot to gain and less of a headache in case the dealer wants to screw you.

Good luck and tell us how it went with the dealer.

It's a whole new rear leaf pack. Nothing is added to your existing springs and yes they will replace his shocks. He has an '08 non TRD. Now as to what brand of shock the OP will get is debatable. Some who have had the work done said they just ended up with upgraded Tokicos.

For the OP's original question, I'd call and talk to the service advisor and ask them if it is going to be an issue.

alright thank you guys so much.
Ill go ahead and talk to them. If they're iffy about it then ill just go ahead and take them off and them put them back on after.
If they already know i have one and they deny me cause of it, will they still do it if i take it off?

I already talked to the service department and they said they needed to ask their manager.
I hope they still do it.
