    The guy (@Tcgator) spent a considerable amount of time writing his questions while creating this thread which allows others to share information. And your response is a private phone call, wtf?
    I definitely won't be going through wheelers for my lift.

    Yes he did spent a lot of time writing it all out which is great for other members to help out and answer his poll. Our response(s) sometimes takes pages of back and forth information with thorough questions. So an open thread with others commenting while this guy is trying to get us info and receiving our responses is not the best avenue for advice in our opinion. Phone calls cut all that time in half. He can then go off of our advice or answer to his questions and post his findings on here if he wishes.

    Yes, I called @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc last night and they answered absolutely all my questions. Sorry I haven't gotten time to publicize them yet.

    I had spoken to one of their employees last night and he had informed me that

    1) the differential drop kit is not super necessary if most of your driving is only off road due to its reduction in clearance. The Drop kit is to reduce the friction between the ribs of the cv boots.. If you are mostly highway driving, this is a good option. They also informed me of stretching the cv boot down the shaft a bit and tighten the clamp in some cases, this eliminates the need for the diff drop kit.
    2) Shims for the rear axle are primarily used for driveline vibrations that are not cured by the simple carrier bearing drop kit. Their opinion was to install the carrier bearing drop kit which usually eliminates all the vibrations, and if they persist, to install 2-3degree axle shim. Since I am lifting the rear only 1.5" and the front about 2", the shims probably wont be necessary, but they are the next step to curing vibrations if the carrier bearing drop kit does not eliminate them completely.
    3) I was informed that with the 1.5" rear lift I am installing, the OEM brake lines are usually sufficient. At full droop they may become tight but it all depends on how you are utilizing your truck. The front I was told are sufficient for a 2" lift and usually people don't install extended brake lines for the front unless they are going LT or a Huge lift exceeding 3-4".
    4) The front bump stops should also be sufficient but installing the aftermarket Superbumps always gives that level of security and better feel when at full flex. The rear bump stop are sufficient if you aren't primarily bottoming out your suspension in the rear. It was recommended to estimate the distance in shock shaft left and if needed, to order a set of bump stops for the rear. In other words, front bumps are sufficient and the rear don't necessarily need to be replaced unless you plan to be bottoming out your shocks in the rear.

    SO with all this information I will be ordering

    Bilstein 5160
    Carrier Drop Kit
    Icon Progressive AAL
    Possibly rear bump stops, will update after taking some measurements.
