    Hey Folks,

So after a year/almost two years of owning my 3rd Gen Taco I’ve found that my suspension is way softer than I’m comfortable with. Given I think the problem more stems from the temperatures we had to deal with Alaska back at the end of 2021/early 2022. Already dealing with a “nose-dive” and extra body roll while breaking or driving. My taco is a ‘21 Tacoma Off-Road with a short bed for reference.

I’ve only got experience in changing stock parts for other stock parts when necessary (in terms of suspension), however with my aforementioned experience I’m looking to upgrade my suspension to handle the climate better/get more longevity.

Unlike most, I enjoy the stock ride height that I get in my Tacoma and can clear anything I find myself needing to get past concerning Ice/Snow here in AK; essentially I don’t want/need to do a huge Stage 3+/whatever lift besides leveling out the front end. I don’t want to have to add new leaf springs either if I can avoid it. May consider new bump stops if it adds value to the build. Would like to eventually make room for 32’s as well.

The suspension product(s) that catches my eye is the Fox Performance Elite Series for the front and rear’s, however I have only a small idea of where to start:

Fox Suspension, new upper control arms to make room for the front end, possibly spacers for the sway bar & leaf springs to ensure CV axle is angled properly.

I appreciate any constructive advice y’all can offer as I learn this process.
