    Okay gonna beat the dead horse of upgrading suspension without too much lift. Please don't shoot me. After much personal debate I have realized the cost/benefit ratio of doing Kings/Icons/OME just does not add up for ME as I don't "wheel". I camp and hunt on roads that I have yet to have an issue with in my stock Taco.

    I have 83k on my 05 DCSB and if I run over a squirrel on the road my rear hits the bump stops. I am thinking of putting the following on and basically getting <1.6" of lift up front with an Eibach coil & 5100 Front Adjustable Billies and the @Wheeler's Off-Road, Inc 2" AAL with rear 5100's. Next week I will be installing the @CBI Offroad Fab Bedrack to hold my @Cascadia Tents Mt Shasta.

    Two Questions;

    1) Should I replace the leaf pack with a new stock leaf pack then put the AAL in or does anyone make a 2" lift leaf pack that would be cheaper than a new stock pack + AAL...?
    2) Should I just use the current stock coils and set the billies at a height to provide a slight front rake to ensure when loaded for camping/hunting (which is almost every weekend) I don't get the ass sag?
    -OR-
    Don't be a cheap ass and get new Eibach coils?

    Love the info on this site and I wish I could provide the same level of help as many of you do.

    1) If you do an AAL, you want to get a 3 leaf progressive AAL, not the single leaf. Single leafs will ride far worse.
    Edit: The AAL will be listed at 1.5" but if you leave the overload spring in will give you closer to 2".

    Inexpensive 2" lift rear leaf pack by iron man (no experience with these): https://bilsteinlifts.com/shop/toyo...ironman-leaf-springs-2005-2014-toyota-tacoma/

    2) Don't be cheap. Get the Eibachs. Your going to have a stiffer rear with the upgraded parts, which will feel poorly matched to the factory fronts.
