    2017 super white tacoma trd off road
    currently running 5100 all the way around with stock springs in the front set to the highest notch (2in lift) and an AAL in the rear. I was looking to add another 1/2 of lift in the front. the stock springs seem to make a lot of creaking noise. plus Im not entirely sure the springs are meant to be under that much preload. reading around the forums it seems like most people run an ome spring on 5100 but those give you a minimum 3in lift and I don't want to lift that high because of the damage it can do. I guess adding a 1/4 spacer would give me the extra 1/2 I was looking for. and in the rear I was looking to upgrade to a Dakar leaf pack. with all the tools I carry for work my rear end sags giving me an ugly rake(however I am level with no wight in the rear). my questions are
    -what is a good spring to upgrade the front to give me a 2 1/2 lift or would adding a 1/4in spacer work?
    -with a 5100 in the rear be okay for a Dakar leaf pack? or do I need to look into getting an extended travel rear shock?

    The ome coils will give you less lift. The 888s are 2-2.5”. The 887 are a little less. And youd get a better ride cuz your not preloading the spring

    really? everything I had read about the 888 and 887 say on the bottom notch they are getting a 3in lift.

    To center hub. I got 1.5 progressive aal in back. 5100 all around

    I think it maxes at 2.75 under best circumstances but alot of people report 2”

    Yeah but each vehicle is a little different. Ive seen some get higher and some lower

    I would think on a 3rd gen they should all get the same lift across the board.

    You could also use the ome and put the 5100 on 1st notch but from what i hear, not recommended
