Kind of a pointless question unless you tell people what your goals, priorities and budget are.

    Where to start...

    Provide your budget.
What kind of, if any offroading are you going to do?
How much lift do you want?

You’re going to need to be much more specific. You can go 2” for $100 or $15k. Although many that are “upgrading” fall in the $500 to $2500 category. You need to tell us what you want the lift for and what kind of off-roading you do, or don’t do. Also what kind of load you carry.

No extreme off reading just yet but still be able to go off road if I need to and was trying to keep it around $2,000. As far as hauling nothing to extreme

Are you planning to install yourself? If not is that included in the $2k?

Didn't see you posted a thread. With a 2" lift the 265/70/17s should be perfectly fine on those wheels you posted. I doubt they'll rub anywhere at all

Bilstein 6112/5160s and a progressive leaf pack will keep you well below 2k and be an awesome set for street and some off-roading.

5100s and add a leaf seems to fit the bill for you, OP

5100/885 w/ 1/4 lean spacer, Icon RXT w/ B110’s, 255/80/17 FWP, AP Apex Sliders, KDMax 87, ADD W1, BD mirror riser
I suggest a full leaf pack replacement. Love the ride of my Icon RXT’s. If you go this route you’ll have to stick to Bilstein or OME Shocks and front coil springs to stay in budget.

I don’t have any experience with the Icon leaf packs but I would focus on the front first and then build to the rear as your budget allows. Not the other way around.

I’m with these guys. I got my 2nd gen 6112s on eBay with a coupon for about $500. 1/8” lean spacer free, had it left over from an old FJ lift. Extended length 6125s for the rear for $90 pair(weird Amazon deal, one of them was only $20). Dakar heavy on FB marketplace for $350 new. Chevy bump stops $30 mounted to the frame. Wheelers extended brake lines $20(not installed, been lazy). Alignment $100.

I was patient and when the deal on the 6112s popped up it made up my mind. Then the Dakar’s kinda fell into my lap too. So all in I’m right about $1100. I still want UCAs(JBA $450) and if I had it to do over I would have sprung for the bushing kit for the Dakar’s because swapping the OEM ones was a huge pita. But I forgot and wanted to install and not wait another week to order them at the time.

You should be able to duplicate what I did with the UCAs for under $2000. Where are you located? Plenty of guys have installed the same and would probably be willing to lend a hand with the install if you reach out.
