Suspention question for a FNG...

I have read thru the site and have a question. ok a couple. I dont want to beat a dead horse but am not sure if there is a dif so I am going to ask. I want to lift my 2012 4x4. When reading im not sure if there is a dif between a 4x4 or prerunner. It looks like running the 5100 with 1.75 works well.. What brand of shock is best ?. Other than alignment and maybe AAL is anything else needed ? Also where is the best place to get parts online ?

Sorry if this has been talked about 100 times but I was not sure if the prerunner or 4x4 made a dif... Thanks for your patients..
