I am helping my friend sell his bike. He is the second owner as far as he knows when he purchased it a year ago with ~8000 miles. It has 10200 miles on the odometer currently. The bike is paid off and he has the title. He no longer has time or is able to ride it because of the weather.

Over $10,000 worth of parts and accessories have been put into this bike.

Every trim piece on the bike was swapped out with chrome accents. The body has a custom paint job with blue and dark blue flames. Extended swing arm also.

Performance add-ons are Power Commander and Ti-Force single exhaust.

He is letting it go for $9,000 OBO.

Letting it go for $9000:confused: Maybe if it had an extended swingarm and not extensions.

Do all the stock parts come with it?

Unfortunatly, mods don't make you any money on used bikes.:( He'd probably make that $9000 if he put it back to stock and sold the aftermarket parts separately.

Good looking bike...I'm an looking for another liter bike to drag, but not for that much.

    for?

Shoot me an offer. And I totally understand when selling a vehicle. He no longer has the stock parts and just wants to get rid of it.

Why people take a perfectly good street bike and extend the rear swing arm making it corner like crap baffles me every time. . . as much as I love a good Gixxer (I have an SV1000S), I wouldn't pay $9k for a 6 yr old bike with 10k miles. That is almost double the price that is should be.. and someone else already said it.. mods do not add value to a bike. You'd be better off selling em piece mail...

Because they can, because they don't USE it as a "sport bike" and because you can't just go buy one. It's a totally different segment of the motorcycle culture. Go downtown Atlanta or to the dragstrip and you'll see tons of these set up like this. Go up to Suches...not so much. Nothing wrong with it at all. It's just hotrodding on a different level is all.

Besides, what makes a better dragbike than a lightweight, high-horsepower liter bike?:D This one in the pics will run high 9 sec 1/4 as it sits. With a few more mods it'll be in the low 9's or high 8's (with a good jockey of course).

To the OP...let me think on it, was more interested in an 05 and up gixxer. I'd have to factor in getting it to LA.
