Interesting, but he's right. "You can break anything – you can even break a trophy truck."

It makes sense to me. I've seen some videos of the people who are jumpin the Raptors, they don't know how to drive. Sure I'm probably over generalizing here, but I'm sure the smart drivers still have straight frames. That truck weighs 3 tons, trying to do the same things that the tacoma does at 2 tons.... that thing might has well be built like a tank to withstand the crap they're putting it through.

I like how he says that it was designed like that. They would rather have the frame buckle than a rear end "donkey kick"

he says they were doing 100+? at that speed i'd be worried about my safety, not my frame. in a stock truck that is

Oh I agree with that. But it should be left at that. Not that we designed it to fail. Honestly the frame buckling will keep the rear from kicking up? I dont think so. Also agree that 100+mph without a cage is just stupid

    This.

Something else is going to break, once the frame is reinforced.

    Its part of the sport.

But for $50k the frame should already be reinforced. You should be breaking "something" else, not the frame

Fixed. Honestly for $50,000, I would buy a buggy if I wanted to drive like that off-road.

I had a 2013 SVT raptor and the piece of crap was in park at my home and some how from me sticking this funnel into the capless fuel inlet... The truck started coming in reverse like someone put it in reverse. by the time i could jump into the truck and get it stopped it was too late it about ripped the door off. Ford would do nothing about it but dont let your eyes decieve you they are pieces of JUNK..

I do not agree. I had a 2010 Raptor, loved it so much that I bought and still have a 2012. Absolutely love it, not a piece of junk by any stretch and that suspension is awesome off road, a little wiggly on the street but still a blast to drive. Not the same as my Tacoma, but I would not want to part with either.

I've never ridden in a Raptor but I would be interested to ride in one just to see how "capable" those $50,000+ trucks are
