Looks like a blast!

 

A couple of us are getting out Sunday, meeting at the McDonald’s/gas station in Donegal at 9:30. Paved/dirt/gravel/Jeep roads

 

I'm going to do my best to make it... I'm driving 14 hours round trip Saturday to go pick up a new used topper.

We had a good time. 7 vehicles total. We’ve been having a pretty consistent group!

I stayed at site #3 two weeks ago. That’s the one on Kirby with the pond below

 

Nice. I visited there once but not camping. Does that road out front stay pretty quiet?

 

Not really. There is very little traffic, but when traffic comes it’s a diesel dodge going 90mph. No traffic bothered me while sleeping though. My buddy made the reservation and said the good site was taken.

Hey guys, just putting up a quick feeler. In about 2 weeks I'll have four Falken Wildpeak ATW3 P265/75R16s available with under 1200 miles on the set. I paid $650 with the tax and would like to get $550 out of them. I would rather meet up with someone from here than go the other alternatives. No problems, no vibrations, nothing out of the ordinary, I just don't care for them and am going back to my Toyo OC ATII LTs. I thought I'd give the Wildpeaks a try because of the price and the good reviews, but I don't care for them.

 

My truck has been put to the side from being busy from work and also having a drivetrain vibration from the factory diagnosed before I run out of warranty. I only have 500 miles left. Once I’m done with my busy season I’ll be back in action. I’m also on the quest to find a difficult trail somewhere local that leads somewhere besides a gate. @PlatinumCloud and I will have to explore a couple more places to find the ultimate closer trail road where 4x4 and driving skill will be required to not destroy your rig l, and it won’t make you turn around.
