    Hi Guys and Girls
I'm new Comer in Tacoma world and I purchase my Taco 2015 almost a year and done some external and interior mod, I love my Taco but I feel this Taco need more power then stock.
I was thinking about to swap bigger engine but I don't want too complicated and don't know what engine will be direct fit into 6speed transmission or anyone try swap 3.5L to 4.0L bc 3.5L engine has 275 instead 235 on 4.0?
As everyone know this supercharger for this engine reach $6K so I try find alternatives way without broke my bank,
Do anyone sell used supercharger in this forum?
Thank you Guys for the time and effort to respond to this tread. I appreciate it

Boost or buy a different truck.
No way I’d engine swap a 2015, and it won’t be easy at that.

Forget the engine swap. While you think $6000 is expensive for a supercharger, all the headaches that would accompany an attempt at an engine swap would make it (the supercharger) seem like a worthwhile expenditure.

Not only about $6K it'self but with the supercharger itself doesn't go much make power if you go with 4.0L engine that's what my comparetion between engine swap bc I did it to my accord before.
Mean while I hope I can get used SC sooner b4 I search deeper about swap engine.
    Thank you Bill.

Okay, I might regret this, but I’ve got to ask...what engine did your Accord come with and what engine did you swap into it?

Tacoma swaps are nothing like Honda swaps.
Parts interchangeability is pretty much nonexistent with a Tacoma.
If you can’t do fab work or have the ability to modify the engine control system, it’s going to get expensive. FAST.

I say boost it and drop in gears if you do anything?

TBH, it sounds like you’d be better off with a different truck.

ProChargers kit is the newest kit to our gen, 40% gain for the standard kit. There is a tuners options as well to give the flexibility to do more or you have the aptitude.

Imo if you were going to the hassle of an engine swap. A tundra engine or LS.

I'd go supercharger. It'll be cheaper in the end and you'll get back up and running quicker. I realize it's fun and everything to swap things but it sucks to be first if there's no easy route (swap kits).

Definitely I make some fab work the one I scare of is the damn wire to connect ECU, I need someone can connect it or make plug and play.

Japanese car the most is interchangeable.. the trick is to know how to wire it... as long the bell housing match should be straight for it.

The main reason I can't choose other truck bc mine is manual transmission if auto I prefer RAM.

    Ew j35. K all day

Seriously though. Buy a supercharger and get smaller pulley if need be. Hp tuners is now available and fuel injector clinic makes injectors for 1grs now. But itll never match a j35 swapped accord. Ive driven plenty of third gens with the 3.5. I dont feel theyre really much better than the 4.0

I had been searching deeper for pro changer too but they are ain't cheap and with standard kit you only make 300whp if you luck, u need upgrade a lot thing too if I want more power.

I had been search too about tundra engine 4.7L or LS 2 but no one can provide wiring system to make it work.

I love too go with SC but I need reach more deeper my pocket. I was thinking if I can swap engine with half price SC and I will keep NA...you right, it's more harder to be the first one done it with no swap kits.

I know sound fun but I'm done with J35 engine, the thing I hate Honda engine they still use timing belt instead chain and J35 has high compression too so make it hard to boosted without blow ur engine if you over boosted.

Timing belts haven't stopped the b series guys honestly. Plus a set of pistons and rods can solve compression issues:notsure:
