Swapped out chrome bumper caps

That looks awesome. What did the paint cost?

 

Picked up a pair of the “Capa certified“ version from Rock Auto, they feel pretty solid. This is the w/o parking sensor version. The black matches the OEM flares on the TRD OR pretty well. It’ not exact but it’s not going to stand out to much if they go unpainted. Notice the close up as there is a little bit of texture to them. I’m thinking of coating with a bed liner type product but I haven’t decided if I’m going to commit or leave them as is. I would hate to paint them to match so my dumb*** can scratch them up doing something stupid.

All in shipped with fed ex ground it was $96.91. Ordered on Thursday and they showed up on Sunday so no need to rush delivery. If you go this route selecting the grade is a little confusing. You have to select what you want and when it’s in your cart you will be able to select from three grades. Super cheap, capa, and I think premium platinum. Not sure if the premium is worth it.

I’ll post some pics once I get around to installing.

 

I got a paint shop to do mine local to me with ones they ordered, but I have MGM. Surprised no one tries the ebay paint matched ones. They have good deals if you have paint that isn't as hard to match like MGM.

 

I bought some and had them painted also. I never saw the painted MGM ones on FleaBay whenever I looked. They may be available now but I looked all over before and they had pretty much every color but MGM. Mine were done local and turned out amazing.

 

I emailed and messaged every vendor I saw that did painted caps, they all said they didn't screw with MGM because it was impossible to match right and people complained. White, cement, black, are readily available, hell even Barcelona red lol. I love my MGM, but it seems like it infuriates paint shops.

 

Could you share some of those vendors you emailed that had cement grey painted end caps?

that’s without sensor hole, you can get them with sensor hole too.

 

2020 OEM chrome rear bumper corner end caps with internal factory components.

Removed from my 2020 TRD Offroad in desert tan.

Nothing wrong with them. I installed other bumper wings from Dissent Offroad
