So I just installed two BD Squadron Sport (the ones with the two flood LEDs on the bottom and spots on the top) as ditch lights using CaliRaised low profile ditch mounts. It looks awesome and the mounts are great but the floods are shining a lot on my hood unless I angle them a ton. Has anybody swapped the diffuser so that the floods are on top and spots are on the bottom or does anybody think that will work? Thought this might help a little and may just try it anyways.

It’s just a lens. You should be able to rotate it. I’ve changed out a few of mine. Not sure on how much it will still effect hood glare

Right, I know it is easy to do just curious if it'll help with the hood glare but doubt it.

Any problems with using the seal that is already on it if I take the lens off and rotate it without replacing that?

You'll be fine with the seal as is. swapping the lens pattern to raise / lower an inch +/- might not help too much.

Do you have them oriented forward or kicked out to the sides?

You can flip the lens or get it changed out to a spot lens if needed. We sell the replacements so you can adjust your lighting output.

Slightly kicked to the side, I intend to use them actually for ditches so they're maybe 45 degrees? It isn't awful and the switch didn't really do that much so I will just keep them as is and accept it but otherwise great lights.
