    Hi,

    I have not seen an answer to this specifically but all the searching does not seem to say there are issues. Can I put a 2015 8" rear axle assembly with e lock in place of my 05 for the same (8" e-lock). Just want to make sure before putting any money out.

    I did the swap the past couple of days. Figured I would update this for anyone who was wondering like me.

    Yes, a 2015 rear axle assembly will fit directly into a 2005, no issues at all. All connections were the same.
