I swapped my stock 16's with Sport 17's with factory tires. They fit perfect. I just had to move my tpms from the old wheels to the new. I only had to move the tpms because they were removed from the 17's before I got them.

Note that whatever a tire size calculator says, each tire model is slightly different. Check the specs of the particular models and sizes on sites like tirerack.com. This is why some rub and some don't. There can be relatively large differences in section and tread widths and some small differences in overall diameter and revs/mi.

BTW, if you go with stock Sport wheels, check out the look in black. A lot of folks don't like the Sport wheels. I do like them and would like them more in straight up black.

Funny, I did not like the look of the sport rims on my truck so I asked them to swap for the OR rims. They did it, no questions asked. The sport rims do look better with a more aggressive tire though. I like your SR5 wheels better than the the sports. just my preference.

I'm the odd ball that doesn't like black wheels at all, that's the only reason I like the Sport wheels.

Just talked to the tire place I use a lot. They suggested Falken AT3W's.

Probably just go 65 instead of 70.

Good stuff. It is all personal and leaving them alone is way easier than trying to figure out how to paint or powder coat them without having a second set on hand.

The Sport wheels kinda has the style of the old Cragar wheels we all put on our cars back in the day.

I went with Toyo Open Country AT2 tires in 265/65/17.

    Gonna have them mounted tomorrow.

Wondering if I should try to sell my current wheels and tires mounted as a package...with plain rubber valve stems, or try and sell the wheels and tires separate.

Damn...loving the new wheels and tires. Same height, but over an inch wider, and night and day as far as tread.

I can confirm that my 265/65R17 Cooper Discoverer AT on some American Racing wheels do not rub at all. I was a bit worried about the 70 fitting well on my stock SR5, but it looks like there's still a bit of room in there.

I'd have liked to went 70 just for the looks, but the only off roading I'll do is the beach. The 65's will be perfect for my needs.

So many people post the 70's don't rub, and the other half claim they do rub.

    Better safe than sorry.
