    Hi guys,

Question on swapping gears on a 2014 TRD Tacoma. In a couple weeks, I'll be installing a 6" suspension lift and 35's (maybe 33's, but I doubt it).

What gear setup would you recommend? I'm thinking 4.56 gears with new lockers, maybe even replace the whole 3rd member.

But maybe I'm talking out of my a$$. Here are a few concerns I have:

    Rear:
Since the TRD has the e-locker, would I have to buy a whole new 3rd member with the 4.56 ratio? Meaning something like this: http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-131078-8-tacoma-fj-cruiser-4runner-e-locker-3rd.html

    Front:
    I'm thinking something like this:
    http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-13...ell-ifs-front-ring-and-pinion-4-56-thick.html
    with this for a locker:
    http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-138654-toyota-8-ifs-arb-air-locker-rd121-30-spline-3-73-down.html

I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to gears so any advice is appreciated.

Do the whole 3rd if you have to ask. That's my plan. I don't have any clue how to properly setup gears, so I'll let the pros do it. Then I'll install the 3rd at home.

You might consider 4.88 if you're sure you are going 35s, but 4.56 will work fine from what I've been reading. I'm on 33s with stock gears and trying to decide what gears to get with my lockers. I'm not sure I'll do 35s anytime soon though. I'm manual transmission, so I'm already a bit lower than AT, so I'm considering staying with stock gearing. AT and 35s, you'll want at least 4.56.
