My 2012 Tacoma came with the factory JBL Audio system with navigation and Satellite radio.
Is it possible to switch it out with a JBL system out of a 2015 Tacoma with all the same options?

Hi, new member today. I have a 2012 with the plain Jane radio and would like to swap it out with a factory touchscreen. I’ve read enough posts to raise concern that such a swap is more than just plug-n-play but I am wondering if your factory 2012 JBL system would be just that for me. I don’t want to get into a long exercise of investigating why certain functions don’t work.

JBL won’t go into non-JBL, and vice versa
