Swapping the JBL Sub Options

I was reading somewhere on TW that is the JBL amp didn't detect the JBL Sub it wouldn't work.
Then I came across this and might try it. Did a quick search and didn't find anything.

Any other options you think might fit? Might just do it and hope for improvement.

 

try it and let us know how it goes. Make sure you take picture and then post a video with HD video and sound so that we can all hear it! haha. jk on that last part.

 

I'll be coming from a JL 10W7, so I just want to take my time finding the right sub. Once I choose one, I'll try it out. I know I'm not gonna get anything that hits like a W7, but just something decent. Wonder if a W3 would fit in there. I'll get around to it.

 

10W3 is what they use in the stealthbox I believe. So it will fit. Up to you about building a custom box or paying more for the prebuilt box.

 

Anyone know the inside volume of the factory JBL box?
