Funny, I've had the exact opposite experience with rockauto, always fast, and even took back a lower control arm that I mistakenly ordered for a 4Runner instead of my Taco.

Doesn't really matter, though, I'd still prefer to get my parts from a dealer that specializes in auto parts, whatever that be. Just not a book retailer, lol...

Maybe the person who you spoke with or who sent you an email was just OTR? I've had very good experiences in returning items to them.

They have no phone customer service line! I've had much better experience in general, with any questions or even returns with summit and parts geek.

I got some centric brake shoes for camry, sure it was my fault in not attempting to install them in their 30 day return allotment, but when I did noticed they didn't have the pin on the shoes. Rockauto wouldn't even offer any option on the shoes at all. It's a bummer because I do like their online ordering format/layout. Look up other reviews from people too...

Could be wheel bearing... how do you test for that? Don't you jack it up and pull on the wheel, if there's any play then wheel bearing's bad? I recently when to the shop to have my brakes checked because they're grabbing and right rear has been locking up while offroading creeping down steep hills. They said my drums out of round, wonder if that's related to wheel bearings.
