So I’ve been thinking about removing my front sway bar, just would like to get some input from people who have done this. What about it do you like and not like? I’ve just read that it allows more articulation when off-road

Feels better offroad but much more body roll on the pavement

I have a good bit more body roll and im running 700lb springs on a 4cyl 2wd. So if you have stock springs, you can expect a lot more body roll imo. But like @whatstcp said, its all subjective. Best to take it off and try it for yourself to see what you think

I removed mine a month or so ago. I feel like it does drive better offroad. As others have said, you definitely get more body roll and it makes some turns pretty fun to take, haha. I don't feel the amount of body roll is dangerous or anything, maybe if you were taking a turn super fast.

Amount of roll is dependent on your front suspension.

I took mine off. From race truck driving to grandma style :spy:

Way better off road, no noticeable difference in sway on my end.

I had my sway bar off for about 6 months before putting it back on. Driving my 2 year old around felt a little unsafe but mostly the crown of our roads in Hawaii make the truck lean like crazy without a sway bar. If you're only driving yourself, my personal opinion, is that you will be fine. Taking slight bends/turns in the road at highway speeds do feel a little less table from the small amount of increased body roll but the best thing to do it take it off and drive it a couple miles and see how it feels.

I love it on road and off and would recommend that anyone with a Sport to try it, esp if they think the suspension is harsh. I had a nice drive in an OR once and would say that it feels about the same as mine with the delete.

Since your starting with an OR, I am not sure about the difference there, but it is only a handful of bolts and not much time required to try it. You have to remove the entire sway bar. Pulling just one link will destroy your CV boots.

2 years and 52 thousand miles without one. YMMV.

Not sure how anyone can say eliminating it makes no difference on-road; we definitely roll more on turns and bends. We run ADS 2.5 COs with compression adjusters and Eibach 700lb springs in front and body roll increased substantially. Is it manageable? To me it is, however it's my wife's DD and she wants the sway bar reinstalled. I can firm-up the shocks to compensate, but you reach a point of diminishing returns regarding firmness vs anti-roll.

Like others have said, it's easy enough to R&R, so the best thing to do is try it yourself.

I know the stock skids don't account for much, but that is what you meant, right?

Yep. Sports come with 700lb springs and roll is increased. I still hoon corners with no issues though.
