How do you handle the sway bar disconnect on tacomas? The links seem easy enough to disconnect or remove. What about the sway bar itself. Do you have to remove it completely? The sway bar can't be secured upward wouldn't it be in the way and end up in the front coil when turning?

I think I've heard of some quick release disconnects for sway bars that people have installed on their Tacomas, presumably so they can be connected/disconnected depending on what you want. Most people I know just remove the sway bar completely, but it's not really recommended if you're running stock coils/suspension.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
The swaybar on the tacoma isn't like the Jeep, the links will play hell in the wheel well while disconnected from the spindle.

    Removal involves (approximately)

    Lift truck front end
    Remove tires
Wrench + allen wrench to remove spindle swaybar links.
    Underneath the truck
    Drop front factory skid
    Remove swaybar body mounts
    Drop swaybar on head accidentally
    Throw sway bar
    Put tires back on

I'm still too nervous about sudden maneuverability to remove mine, lol.
