Sway Bar End Link Bushing Tearing

    When I torque the top nut on my sway bar links to the factory spec of 22 foot-pounds both rubber bushings really get scrunched. (The bushings are shown at the top of the image.) The last time I did this was 18 months (9,000 miles ago) and now I see that both the top and the bottom bushings are torn again, the bottom one is is pretty bad shape.

    Suggestions???

    My links would usually break before the bushing cracked. So I eventually just took it off.

    Well I'm glad that at least one more person out of the millions who own one of these trucks has this problem. I was beginning to thing that I was the only one... ;)
