Sway bar end links...

Here's what I received from them. Don’t do it.

 

Yea greasable links aren't going to last any longer than sealed ones. It ain't 1982 anymore

 

Stay away from moog. Their quality has gone downhill after they got bought out.

 

I tried to find the most recent thread discussing sway bar end link discussion. I have recently installed Rancho Quick Struts on my 03 Taco prerunner 2wd auto and now it is lifted in front between 2-3 inches.
My question is, will standard OEM links fit or which ones are available for me?

My .02, those TTX ones are horrible. One of my joints went bad after 8k miles. Very lame.

based on the photos on their page and looking at the sway bar on my truck just now, i have no idea how that would even attach. the tab on the sway bar is rotated 90 degrees from what's shown in their photo, so if you attach it by those bushings, it will stick straight into the wheel

I'm probably just going to take mine off but someone sent me these n it says it fits 05 to 15 so thought I would ask

 

$750+ for disco links…

 

Stick with OEM. I went with aftermarket ones with grease zerks and they were rust buckets in a month. Took them of and went with OEM. If yours are rusted up just use channel locks to keep the bolt from spinning.

 

Do you happen to know the OEM part number for 2nd Gen sway bar links?

Thank you very much. I found them an hour ago but was confused by the exploded view on Toyotas website and the cost.

 

I was looking myself as well. There are some sets on ebay that are OEM and around $100ish for the set. Just make sure you check the feedback.

 

Overland Custom Design. Installed a few years ago... good quality / no complaints.

 

Note there are different links for the 2wd and 4wd models.

 

I need to disconnect mine and see if that’s what’s really causing my noise. I’m leaning more towards control arm busing but the noise echos everywhere in the wheelwell
